I finished Stage 1 and I am planning to continue. Is Stage 2 to Loolkandura more steep and how are the water sources along the path.

Stage 2 is slightly more challenging than Stage 1 as you climb into the Loolkandura estate. It is about fourteen kilometers and takes you to the first tea plantation ever planted in Sri Lanka. There are natural springs, but it is best to carry at least two liters of water. The incline is steady but manageable for regular hikers. The view from Taylor Seat is worth the extra effort.
