Ambewela is situated roughly 20 kilometers completely away from the highly bustling Nuwara Eliya town center. The highly incredibly scenic drive takes approximately roughly forty five minutes depending entirely on local traffic and weather conditions.

The heavily winding steep mountain road is entirely completely paved but incredibly narrow. It is a phenomenally brilliantly beautiful journey winding perfectly directly through dense lush tea estates and massive pine forests making it an absolutely perfect highly rewarding half day excursion from the city.
