If you take the most popular and established Hatton route starting from Dalhousie, you will climb approximately 5500 uneven, steep concrete stairs to reach the summit of Adams Peak. The total elevation gain is massive. It is an incredibly grueling, relentless stair master workout that takes an average person roughly three to four hours to complete. Your legs will absolutely burn, but the spiritual atmosphere and the breathtaking sunrise view from the top make the intense physical struggle totally worth it.
