Major train stations are generally safe during the day but can get crowded, especially at peak times. Keep valuables in a secure daypack or money belt, and don't flash expensive items. Pickpocketing is not extremely common but does happen in crowded areas. Keep your bag in front of you in crowds and be aware of your surroundings. At night, stations are quieter and it's best to stay in well-lit areas with other people. Many travelers use trains without issues by staying alert and keeping belongings secure. Avoid leaving bags unattended even briefly. If you're traveling with valuable gear, consider a small lockable bag or keeping important items on your person.
Stay alert in crowded stations, keep valuables secure and in front of you. Pickpocketing isn't rampant but can happen in busy areas.
