The final ascent past the Lion Paws involves climbing incredibly steep narrow metal staircases that are physically bolted directly into the sheer vertical face of the massive rock. It is highly intimidating if you suffer from severe vertigo.

However you can absolutely rest assured that the stairs are completely structurally secure highly maintained and feature solid high metal guard rails to grip tightly. The most terrifying part is simply looking down so just keep your eyes focused entirely on the stairs ahead of you and climb slowly.
