Inland room at 10.14 - still hearing drums or is the 4th actually over behind the lake
10.14, two hills back from the lake. Not on the walk, not a leftover PA on a pole the kid wanted to run toward. From the window: a thump. Partner says devale. I say a tuk bass. Is inland still a live drum at 10.14 or is that how Kandy sounds every night and we only notice because we stood the loop.

10.14 is not a second Kumbal. Official next start is Saturday 6:28 PM. A thump inland is a tuk, a leftover speaker, a house, or a devale finishing its own close-up. You do not need to walk toward it. Bed.
Ada still has not posted tonight's finish. That does not mean the relic is still on Dalada. The table has nothing between 6:40 tonight and 6:28 tomorrow.
Our inland room did this last night too. It was a bus. We felt stupid. Sleep.

TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
