We rented a tuk tuk for a month and want to install a cheap Bluetooth speaker system to play music while we drive between beach parties. Will rental companies allow this.

Most tourist rental companies (like TukTuk Rental) actually offer vehicles with Bluetooth speakers already installed as an add-on! If yours does not have one, do not splice any wires to install a car stereo yourself, or you will lose your deposit. Just buy a loud, battery-powered JBL speaker and strap it securely to the metal grab rail inside the cab.

Confirming this. If you cut our electrical harnesses, we charge you for a full rewiring. Use a portable speaker.

Be respectful when driving through small villages at night. Turn the bass down so you do not wake up the locals.
