Yes, Dickwella beach is extremely close to Hiriketiya. They are adjacent bays. You can actually walk between them in about fifteen minutes over a small headland.

If you prefer not to walk in the heat, a tuk tuk ride between the two beaches takes less than five minutes and costs very little.

Dickwella is a much longer, wider beach and is usually completely empty compared to the busy horseshoe bay of Hiriketiya. It is great for long sunset walks.
