The crowds can get so massive that you might find yourself stuck in a complete standstill on the final set of stairs for hours, completely missing the actual sunrise from the summit.

If you must visit in April, try to climb on a weekday rather than a weekend or a Poya full moon day, which are exponentially busier and more exhausting.
