Just watched the 4th Kumbal - is Saturday's 5th actually thicker or do we skip to Sunday Randoli

We just came off Dalada Veediya. Beautiful, loud, smaller than the Instagram Randoli clips. Kid is wrecked. Official site says 5th Kumbal tomorrow 6.28pm and 1st Randoli Sunday 6.44. Is tomorrow actually a step up or is it the same loop with one more elephant and we should sleep and wait for the palanquins.

Kumbal is five nights, 18-22. Tomorrow is the last Kumbal, not a rehearsal for a rehearsal - it is still thinner than any Randoli. Randoli starts Sunday when the devale queens' palanquins join. If you only have one more night in you, Sunday is the first night that looks like the postcard. If you have energy and a hotel, tomorrow is free pavement practice for the bigger nights.

Tonight felt a notch busier than Wednesday but it was not "thick." Same ~1.3 km loop. We are skipping Saturday and keeping Sunday. Grand Randoli is Thursday 27th if you can last.

Do not expect tomorrow to suddenly become 100 elephants. Scale builds across the Randoli week, climax Thursday. Sunday is the first real jump.

Grand Randoli Thursday is the one my cousin keeps sending. We fly Monday. Sunday is the only extra night we have.
