Lake looks empty at 10.15 - can we actually swim it or is that the fastest whistle
Wall is a handful of sitters, shops shut. Partner wants to "just get in, it's a lake." Sit-on-the-wall-allowed was 9.10. This is swimming. Kandy Lake, 10.15, after a Kumbal, still in clothes we stood in. Allowed, stupid, or both.

No. It is a city lake next to the temple precinct an hour after the casket went in, not a beach. Quiet sitters are not a lifeguard. You will be the story. Shower in the room now that the tap punched back (other thread).
If a uniform is still on the corridor, you will not get a debate, you will get a whistle. Extra Tourist Police are in the season plan. Empty is not a swimming pool.
We saw someone paddle his feet. A man told him to stop. He stopped. Correct.

TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
