I am staying in Midigama but partying at Lamana in Ahangama tonight Is it safe to walk between the two towns late at night

✓Accepted Answer

Absolutely NOT safe to walk that route at 3 AM. The Galle road is unlit in sections, speeding night buses are lethal, and the stray dog packs become highly territorial at night. Always pay 500 LKR for a tuk-tuk waiting outside the club to get back to Midigama.

I walked it once and got surrounded by dogs near the bridge. Do not do it.

Yes, there is always a line of them waiting when the main beach bars close. Negotiate the price before you get in.
