Lock Saturday now - last Kumbal kerb at 6.28 or Peradeniya gardens then back for the night
We are done with tonight. Saturday is the first full day we still have in Kandy. Last Kumbal is 6:28. Partner wants the Botanical Gardens in the morning / lunch, then come back for the 5th. I want to treat 6:28 like tonight and sit a kerb from late afternoon. Foreca Saturday is 2-5pm showers then 6pm cloudy. Lock one plan now or we will fight it at 11am in 50 km/h gusts.

You can do both only if the gardens are the morning, not a 2pm sit in the 41-51% shower slot, and you are back in town before the loop diversions rebuild. Gopallawa / Old Peradeniya were the published corridors - Saturday will use a plan even if the 5th map is not a new PDF in your WhatsApp. Do not invent a gardens closing minute; go when gates are open and leave before the rain column.
5th Kumbal Saturday 6:28 PM is still on the official table. Gardens in the morning does not cancel it. A 16:00 still-in-Peradeniya lunch is how people miss the last Kumbal.
We did gardens 8-ish, back by 1, napped, stood 6.28. The 2-5pm rain is the bit you do not picnic.
Scam Watch: kandy
TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
