Mosquitoes arrived the second the kerb emptied - dengue 8043 this month, do we even sit outside
Crowd gone, whine started. Ada said 8,043 dengue cases in the first 20 days of August. We are on a step because the room is a generator oven. Sit five more minutes or is "after the crowd" the worst time.

Go inside. Repellent if you have it. Long sleeves. Coconut husks and leftover water are not a reason to sit. NDCU's 8,043 for 1-20 Aug is a national month-so-far, not a Kandy-lane count, but Central Province has been in those totals all month. After-parade steps are not a special safe window.
The lake edge is worse than an inland room. If the generator oven is the problem, open a window with a screen if it has one, or just sweat. Sitting the kerb "because it is empty" is how you collect bites for Saturday.
We sat. We itched. We bought coils in the morning. Inside is the 9.34 answer.
