Mosquitoes or bugs in south coast hotels - need repellent or nets?

Heard mixed. Bringing kid so want to be prepared. Any issues lately?

Some places have AC and nets, others not. Mosquitoes are around especially evenings near water. Bring good repellent, the local ones work fine. Most hotels have fans or AC which helps. Not a huge issue but better to have protection, especially for kid.

Yeah repellent is smart. Some hotels provide nets or coils. Not terrible but annoying if not protected.
