Mount Lavinia shooting headlines again tonight - is the beach still a Friday-night plan

We bailed on the soggy south and booked a Mount dinner because the other thread said so. Then Ada Derana this afternoon: two more suspects on the Huludagoda shooting (that was the 15th). Is the beach strip a problem tonight or is that a lane we will never walk.

Huludagoda is a specific lane / workshop shooting, 15 Aug, arrests through the week, two more after the 19th night, remanded to the 28th. That is a targeted fight, not a beach-shutdown. The Galle Road restaurant strip is doing Friday. Do not wander a dark workshop lane at 11 because Google said a shortcut.
