I'm looking for proper multi-day hikes with camping or village stays. Any good options?

Sri Lanka isn't a big trekking destination like Nepal, but there are some good options: the Knuckles Range has several multi-day routes with village homestays. Sinharaja rainforest has guided multi-day options (more about biodiversity than big views). The Horton Plains to World's End area can be extended. Some operators offer treks combining Adam's Peak with surrounding trails. For the best experience, go with a reputable local guide who can arrange village stays - it's more cultural than pure wilderness trekking.

We did a 3-day Knuckles trek with village stays. It was excellent - very different from the usual tourist circuit. Highly recommend going with a good local operator.
