NE Saturday still showering at 6pm 0.4 mm - the dry 6.28 kerb we would be leaving
Last fork on NE. Kandy Saturday 6pm is 0 mm cloudy for 6.28. NE Saturday 6pm is still overcast and showers 0.4 mm at 16 degrees. Partner wants Gregory-at-dusk as the instead-of-Kumbal picture. I think we would be leaving the only dry kerb in the hills on purpose. Is 0.4 mm a deal-breaker or just a jacket in 16 degrees.

Same 22:27 stamp: Kandy 18:00 0 mm / 25°C / 43% coinciding with 6:28. NE 18:00 0.4 mm / 16°C / 44% and it stays wet into the evening (7pm 0.3, 8pm 0.1). 0.4 mm is a damp viewpoint, not a flood. It is also not last-Kumbal. If you have not stood a Randoli yet, leaving a dry 6:28 for Gregory-in-the-rain is a choice you should name, not a weather accident.
If 6:28 is the picture you came to Sri Lanka for, stay. NE will still be there Monday.

TukTuk or tour drivers take you to "gem museums" or "government-certified" gem shops. They receive huge commissions (up to 40%) on anything you buy. Prices are inflated 3-10x the actual value.
Men approach tourists near Temple of the Tooth offering to be guides. After the tour, they demand large "donations" or guide fees (5000-10000 LKR).
