Do locals aggressively demand money if you take photos near their tea fields.

Taking photos of the Nine Arch Bridge is completely free. However, some opportunistic locals who own the tea fields on the steep hillsides overlooking the bridge have started demanding an impromptu entrance fee if you try to stand on their property for a better angle.

To avoid this, simply stick to the public railway tracks or the designated dirt paths leading down to the bridge base. If a local aggressively demands money for standing on a hillside trail, just politely decline, walk away, and find another free vantage point.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
