I am bringing my DSLR to Diyaluma Falls. Is the mist at the base too intense for electronics, and where is the best dry vantage point.

The base of Diyaluma is a hurricane of mist. If the wind blows toward you, your DSLR will be soaked in seconds. The best dry vantage point is actually the bridge on the main road before you walk down to the base. If you want to shoot closer, you MUST use a rain sleeve and keep a microfiber cloth over the lens until the exact second you press the shutter.

Hike to the upper pools instead! The view looking down the waterfall is incredible and there is zero mist up there.

Put silica gel packets in your camera bag. The humidity alone in that jungle valley will fog your sensor.
