Pophams Arboretum in Dambulla, is it worth a visit.
We love nature. Is this dry zone arboretum actually interesting for tourists.

Pophams Arboretum is an absolute must visit if you appreciate nature. It is the only dry zone arboretum in Sri Lanka and is meticulously maintained, offering a peaceful escape from the busy Dambulla town center.
It is very affordable and provides a fantastic, educational contrast to the purely historical sites in the cultural triangle. Make sure you bring strong mosquito repellent for the evening tours.
The highlight of the arboretum is the guided night walk. Experienced trackers will help you spot the incredibly rare, nocturnal Slender Loris in its natural habitat, which is a truly unforgettable experience.
