Hiriketiya beach looks amazing but I heard the beach bars play loud music until 3 AM. Are there quiet homestays nearby where I can actually sleep.

Yes, but you MUST book inland. The horseshoe bay shape acts like an amphitheater, echoing the bass from Dots and Smoke & Bitters straight into the beachfront cabanas. Walk 5 to 10 minutes up the steep hill towards the main Dickwella road, and you will find lovely, silent local family homestays. They are half the price and infinitely quieter.

I stayed near the Dickwella beach side instead. It is a 15-minute walk to Hiri but completely silent at night.

Plus, the inland homestays serve an incredible traditional breakfast, unlike the overpriced avocado toast on the beach.
