Tiki Cliff Bar in Weligama completely destroyed me last night. Are there any gentle restorative or Yin yoga classes on a rooftop this afternoon to help me sweat out the toxins and recover.

Hangtime Hostel in Weligama has an amazing open air rooftop shala overlooking the ocean. They usually host a Yin or restorative yoga session at 4 PM or 5 PM, which is absolutely perfect for post party recovery. The sea breeze helps, and holding the deep stretches will reset your nervous system after a loud night out.

Do not attempt a power Vinyasa class if you are severely dehydrated from drinking. Stick to Yin, otherwise you might pass out in the tropical humidity.

Tell the yoga instructor you are recovering. They can give you specific gentle twists that help stimulate the liver and aid in detoxifying.

Honestly, sometimes just lying in Savasana on a yoga mat for an hour while listening to the waves is the best cure. No one will judge you.

Tiki Cliff is legendary but brutal. Just climbing those stairs back up to the road is a workout in itself.

Ebb and Flow also runs great afternoon sessions. Grab two King Coconuts from the street vendor before you go to the class, you need the electrolytes.
