We are in A-Bay and heard the Saturday night beach parties are legendary. Do they happen at Main Point or do we need to travel to Whisky Point.

The massive Saturday night parties happen at Mambo’s, which is right on Main Point, but Whisky Point (a 15-minute tuk-tuk ride north) hosts incredible Friday night raves at Sababa. The parties rotate venues so they do not compete. Check the posters in the cafes on the main strip to see who is hosting the big event tonight.

Be careful driving tuk-tuks back from Whisky Point late at night. Wild elephants frequently cross that dirt road.

Whisky point is amazing. You can literally party on the sand until sunrise and then just grab your board and surf the morning glass.
