After weeks of sun and salt water, I am looking for a beachside spa in Tangalle that uses locally sourced ingredients like sea salt and wild aloe vera for skin recovery.

Tangalle is brilliant for natural wellness. Many boutique resorts along Silent Beach and Goyambokka use locally harvested Hambantota sea salt mixed with pure virgin coconut oil for deep exfoliation, followed by cooling fresh aloe straight from the garden. You do not need to be a hotel guest to book the spa at most high end eco resorts.

If you get a bad sunburn from surfing, ask any local pharmacy for pure Siddhalepa aloe gel, it works miracles overnight before you can get to a proper spa.
