Secret spots to photograph the blue train near Ella.

While the Nine Arch Bridge is famous, the Demodara Loop offers a much more unique photography opportunity. You can stand on the hills and watch the blue train cross a bridge and then spiral completely underneath itself through a mountain tunnel.
Another fantastic spot is the Kithalella railway station area. The tracks curve sharply through dense green tea estates there, allowing you to capture the classic shot of the train winding through the hills without any crowds blocking your lens.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
