For a truly secret spot, ask a local tuk tuk driver to take you to the Ravana Ella upper falls, which are much quieter than the main roadside drop.

Diyaluma Falls is another spectacular option nearby. It is the second highest waterfall and features incredible natural infinity pools at the top if you are willing to do a moderate hike.
