While tipping is not strictly mandatory, it is highly expected and deeply appreciated on the village tour. The local women who cook the incredible lunch and the men who drive the ox carts rely heavily on tourist tips to support their families. A tip of around 500 to 1000 Rupees for the cooking ladies and your main guide is a very fair and kind gesture for a wonderful experience.
