Sigiriya climb — still busy or manageable this week? Any access issues?
Planning to do it tomorrow. How are the crowds and is everything open?

It's been busy but manageable this week — not as overwhelming as peak holiday periods. The site is large enough that you can find quieter moments even with other visitors around. Everything is open and accessible. Early morning is still your best bet for fewer people and better light/photos. Some people are going later in the afternoon when day-trippers have left. The climb itself is the same as always — steep but doable for most reasonably fit people. This week has been pretty typical for Sigiriya. Allow 2-3 hours to do it properly without rushing.
