Sigiriya vs Pidurangala right now — which is better for sunrise/sunset photos?

Pidurangala has been less crowded this week and offers good sunrise views with a shorter, steeper climb. Sigiriya is more impressive historically but can get busy, especially for sunrise. Some photographers are doing Pidurangala for sunrise and then Sigiriya later in the day when it's quieter. Both are worth it but for different reasons. If you want fewer people and a good view, Pidurangala is probably the better choice this week. Sigiriya is still great but expect more company at popular times.
