9.16, sitting on the step we have been glued to since 5. Official table says 5th Kumbal Saturday 6.28. We know it is still a Kumbal, not Randoli. What I cannot get a straight answer on: is Saturday the same Dalada / Queen's kerb or do locals move because tonight was the dress rehearsal of the dress rehearsal.

Same loop. Police published Dalada Veediya → Katugodalla / Senanayake → Raja Veediya → Maligawa for the 4th; Kumbal nights use that circuit. Saturday is the last Kumbal (6:28), still the same streets, still no Randoli palanquins. If tonight's two metres worked, they will work. If tonight's two metres were a trap, change inland or toward Raja Veediya, not because Saturday uses a secret other route.

We stood Queen's lake-side Wednesday and Thursday. Same stones. Saturday we are trying one block off the lake so we can leave when we want.

The jump in what you see is Sunday 6:44, 1st Randoli, not a Saturday kerb-swap. Grand Randoli is Thursday 27.
