I am interested in landscape architecture. Is the Brief Garden worth a visit, or is Lunuganga better?

Absolutely worth it. It is the former home and garden of Bevis Bawa (brother of the famous architect Geoffrey Bawa). It is a lush, wild, slightly eccentric garden filled with hidden sculptures and winding paths. Much less crowded than Lunuganga.

The road to get there is very narrow and bumpy for the last 2 kilometers. Take a tuk-tuk rather than a large car or van.
