Are there facilities halfway up the rock or do we need to carry everything to the top.

There are absolutely no toilets or water vendors available once you pass the main entrance gate and start climbing the rock. You must use the washrooms near the ticket office before you begin your hike.

Please ensure you carry your empty plastic bottles back down with you to keep the ancient archaeological site clean, as there are very limited trash bins on the summit.

You must carry all the drinking water you will need for the entire three hour round trip. Bring at least one large bottle per person, as the intense heat and steep stairs will heavily dehydrate you.
