One of the best hidden gems in Nuwara Eliya is the Moon Plains. Often overshadowed by Horton Plains, this area offers an incredible panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and valleys without the massive crowds.

If you love waterfalls, Lovers Leap is a spectacular sight. The hike up through the tea plantations is incredibly scenic, and the waterfall itself is steeped in fascinating local romantic legends.

You absolutely must visit Galways Land National Park. It is a tiny, beautiful patch of montane forest right within the city limits, perfect for a quiet morning walk and spotting endemic bird species.
