If you want a flawless secluded beach experience take a tiny ten minute tuk tuk ride to Dalawella Beach. Specifically find the perfectly calm natural rock pool lagoon famously known as Wijaya Beach. During the early morning hours you can comfortably swim there entirely peacefully with giant wild sea turtles.
