When do trains pass over the Nine Arch Bridge in Ella.
I want to capture the iconic photo of the blue train crossing the famous Nine Arch Bridge. What are the exact train timings and where is the best viewpoint for photography.

Trains cross the Nine Arch Bridge approximately seven to eight times each day in both directions. The most popular times for tourists are around six thirty in the morning, nine thirty, eleven, two thirty in the afternoon, and four thirty in the evening. Always confirm the current schedule with your guesthouse the night before as Sri Lanka Railways occasionally updates timetables and trains can run delayed.
The classic photo angle is from the small viewpoint on the hillside above the bridge accessible via a short jungle path from the Nine Arch Cafe. Arrive at least thirty minutes before the train time to secure your spot as it gets extremely crowded. The morning trains around nine thirty offer the best lighting with the sun illuminating the entire bridge structure beautifully.

People outside stations offer to "help" buy tickets but charge large markups. They may buy cheap third-class tickets and sell as more expensive classes.
