I have a small drone. What are the rules and good scenic spots that allow it?

Drone use is heavily restricted. You generally need special permission from Civil Aviation Authority for any commercial or even serious hobby use. Flying near airports, military areas, temples, national parks, and crowded tourist sites is prohibited. Some remote beaches or private land (with owner permission) might be okay, but it's risky without proper permits. Many travelers have had drones confiscated. Unless you have official approval, it's often not worth the hassle. Check current regulations before bringing one.

I left mine at home after reading the rules. Not worth the risk of it being taken at the airport or during travel. Some people fly in very remote areas but it's grey area.
