The Kandy Lake Club organizes the most famous and highly rated traditional cultural show in the city. It starts every evening around 5 PM and features an incredible array of drumming, acrobatics, and fire walking.

You can easily purchase tickets directly at the door for both venues, but asking your hotel or a local tuk tuk driver to reserve a seat for you guarantees a great spot near the stage.

Another excellent, highly authentic venue is the YMBA hall in Kandy. The performers there are heavily focused on preserving the precise, historical movements of the Uda Rata Natum tradition.
