The Hatton route, specifically starting from the village of Dalhousie, is absolutely the best and easiest trail for tourists to climb Sri Pada. The path consists almost entirely of paved concrete stairs and is lined with rest stops.

The alternative Ratnapura route is significantly longer, wilder, and physically much more grueling. Only choose the Ratnapura path if you are an experienced trekker looking for an extreme jungle challenge.
