Which national parks are best and safest for leopard sightings?
I really want to see leopards. Which parks offer the best chances and what safety measures are in place during safaris?

Yala and Wilpattu are the top parks for leopard sightings. Yala has a higher density but can get crowded. Wilpattu is larger and often quieter. All safaris are done in open jeeps with experienced drivers and trackers. Safety protocols are strict — you stay in the vehicle at all times, and guides know how to keep a safe distance from animals. Leopards are elusive and usually avoid people, so sightings are exciting but not dangerous if you follow the rules. Early morning and late afternoon drives give the best chances.
Yala seems popular but crowded. Will consider Wilpattu for a quieter experience. Thanks for the safety details.
