We rented a tuk tuk and want to strap 4 yoga mats to the outside so we have room for party gear inside. Can we build a temporary PVC rack on the roof.

Do not try to build PVC racks or alter the vehicle structure! If you damage the canvas roof or the metal frame, the rental company will keep your deposit. Most rental tuk-tuks already come with a metal roof rack. Just buy good quality bungee cords and strap the rolled-up yoga mats directly to the existing roof rack. Put them inside a waterproof bag first.

If you strap them to the side of the tuk-tuk, the police will pull you over for extending the width of the vehicle.

Make sure you take the mats off when you park outside the clubs. People will definitely steal them while you are inside partying.
