While there are no official yoga retreats directly ON Swami Rock due to it being a strict religious and military zone, many wellness guesthouses in nearby Uppuveli offer morning yoga and organize guided spiritual tours to Koneswaram for the evening sunset pooja.

Watch out for the spotted deer! They roam freely inside Fort Frederick on the way to the temple.

Be prepared to walk. The path up to the temple from Fort Frederick is steep and usually very hot by midday.
