A-Bay looks rideable Saturday - stay for the swell or come up for the last Kumbal at 6.28

10.16, Arugam. Webcam looks less ugly than Friday. Last Kumbal is Saturday 6:28. 10pm night bus toward Kandy was the during-the-4th panic and we stayed put. Now the 4th is over and we still have a Saturday. Heat advisory is Eastern daytime. Stay on the sand, or start a Saturday van we will hate at 14:00 in Kandy showers.

5th Kumbal Saturday 6:28 PM is the last Kumbal. Missing it means you miss this phase. Sunday 6:44 is Randoli if you can move a day later - that is a different night, usually a longer drive into a thicker crowd. A Saturday van from A-Bay that arrives at 16:00 is a 4pm-into-showers-into-dusk-start problem (Foreca 2-5pm 41-51%).

Warm-weather advisory is Saturday daytime Eastern Province (A-Bay is in it) plus the north. Hydrate, hat, do not treat a caution-level afternoon as a reason the swell is cancelled. I will not invent a Saturday set-wave height from a webcam.

We left A-Bay at 8am for a Kumbal and arrived cooked. Surf the Saturday you can see. Book Sunday Kandy if Randoli is the one you actually want.
