Book reserved seats if possible. Bring snacks, toys and change of clothes. Trains can be delayed so patience is key. Some have family areas.

Yeah 2nd class is more comfortable. Keep kid occupied and have water ready.

Can be tight, better to fold it. Or use carrier.
