Are leopard sightings in Kumana National Park good in April

I want to avoid the jeep traffic in Yala. Is Kumana National Park a viable alternative for spotting leopards and bears before I hit the surf camps in Arugam Bay.

Kumana is fantastic and far less crowded than Yala Block 1. While it is internationally famous for migratory birds, the leopard and sloth bear sightings have been excellent this April. The trails are much quieter, giving you a highly authentic wilderness experience just an hour south of the Arugam Bay surf scene.
