If you want quiet but still want to be near Main Point you need to look slightly inland Walk 5 minutes away from the beach road towards the lagoon Look for places like Upali Beach Surf Resort or small family run spots on the cross streets They are much quieter and cheaper
There is a great family run homestay near the bridge Ask for Kamal he will also arrange your tuktuk to Peanut Farm for cheap
Avoid any place directly on the sand if you want to sleep The bass from the beach clubs vibrates the wooden cabanas until 4 AM
