I only have time to hike one of these in Ella for sunrise. Which one offers the better view and photography light?

Ella Rock is a much longer, more strenuous 2-3 hour hike, and navigating the path in the dark before dawn can be confusing. Little Adam’s Peak takes 30-40 minutes on a perfectly paved path and steps. For a stress-free, spectacular sunrise, do Little Adam’s Peak.

Little Adam’s Peak looks directly down the Ella Gap as the sun comes up. It’s stunning. Do Ella Rock in the mid-morning instead when you can see the trail markers clearly.
