I want to do the mega zipline in Ella. Is the equipment actually maintained to international standards, and do they weigh you before you go.

Yes, Flying Ravana is highly professional. It is the only zipline in Sri Lanka built and certified to European safety standards (ERSCA). They check harnesses meticulously. They DO weigh you before you ride, as there is a strict minimum (30kg) and maximum (110kg) weight limit to ensure you make it across the valley safely.

You can also rent a GoPro from them that attaches to your helmet for cool footage.

During peak season (Dec-March), yes, definitely book online. Otherwise, you can just walk in.

I did it last week. The staff are great and the equipment looks brand new. Best 45 seconds in Ella.
