We are not very fit. Is the climb to this wide waterfall physically demanding.

Bomburu Ella is widely considered the widest waterfall in Sri Lanka. The hike from the ticket counter takes about 45 minutes. It involves some uneven dirt paths and rocks, but it is not overly steep or physically demanding.

You just need a basic level of fitness and good walking shoes. The trail winds through beautiful farm terraces and jungle, making the walk itself incredibly scenic before you even reach the massive cascade.
