Take the hiking path towards Kithal Ella waterfall. It is a true hidden gem tucked into the jungle right off the railway tracks on the way to Ella Rock. Because it requires a short hike, tour buses cannot get there. The pool at the base is very calm and usually completely empty, making it a perfect adventure swim.

Absolutely do not cliff jump anywhere in Ella The rocks are jagged and hidden just below the water surface.
